Ballistics Expert from Kosovo Forensic Agency Mr. Fejsal Lutfiu for about 5 months has conducted research related to the conversion of gas pistols converted into real deadly pistols caliber 7.65. During the research, he studied the way of conversion as well as the models of modified weapons. The Research was done in some models of weapons such as: Zoraki model 925 pistol, then Zoraki mod 914b, Ekol Tuna, etc.
He has paid special attention to the way of conversion, the class characteristics of the stripes, the signs of the tools during the conversion of the barrel, the functionality after the conversion, the power of the weapon, etc.
The results of this research Mr. Lutfiu also presented them at the regional technical workshop on converted weapons held this year in Pristina with the support of UNDP. The research conducted by Mr. Lutfiu will greatly help in the development of the science of Forensics in our country and will help reduce crime in our country.
