Based on the article No 02-2015 of Ministry of Internal Affairs for internal organization of the Kosovo Agency on Forensic, Department of Forensic Information Technology, is responsible to administrate data entry in systems of AFIS, IBIS, LIMS, RIMS and CODIS, as well maintaining hardware and software maintenance to ensure integrity of operations processes on KAF Laboratories;

Division of Computer Examination
Division of Computer Examination carried out all kinds of digital forensic expertise:
Within this expertise are performed:
These expertises are carried out using different methods based on standard operating procedures as follows:
1. Guidelines, Division of computer examination,
2. The programs approved for forensic examination,
3. The procedure for issuing the hard disk,
4. Procedure for creating the image (forensic copy) of media,
5. Examination and analyzing computer,
6. Examination of mobile phones and sim cards,
7. Preparation of samples for internal tests of skills.
Staff:
Division of Computer Examination has three (3) computer forensics experts:
Chief of Division and two (2) trained and certified expert for forensic examinations.
Other
Staff members have higher levels of education in the field of computer science and forensics technologies, two of them are the only ones in Kosovo certified by international license EnCe (EnCase Certified Examiner). Division use only programs and Forensics devices which are accredited in this field.
Division of Image, Video and Voice Examination.
Division of Image, Video and Voice Examination carried out forensic expertise in the field of digital imaging, video and audio.
Within this expertise are performed:
1. Conducting examinations of photography,
2. Conduct examinations of videos,
3. Conducting examinations of sound,
4. Identify Speaker.
These expertises are carried out using different methods based on standard operating procedures as follows:

2. The programs approved for the Division of Digital Image, Videos and Audios,
3. Procedures for Examination of Audio Identification,
